INVITATION FOR BIDS Larson Design Group, Inc. will accept sealed bids for the contracts for Non-Professional Services for the NBIS Inspections Group 1 - City of Pittsburgh until 12:00 p.m. (prevailing time), February 14, 2024 at their office, 1000 Commerce Park Drive, Suite 201, Williamsport, PA 17701. Bids shall be in a sealed envelope clearly marked Non-Professional Services for the NBIS Inspections Group 1 - City of Pittsburgh. All bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at 1:00 p.m. on February 14, 2024 in the Board Room, 1000 Commerce Park Drive, Suite 201, Williamsport, PA 17701. Non-professional services includes the use of under bridge cranes, man-lifts, bucket trucks, inspection boats, and traffic control. Proper operation and maintenance of all equipment and vehicles per manufacturer specifications is required. Bids are invited upon the following: Contract A: Supply under-bridge inspection access and maintenance & traffic protection services Contract B: Supply under bridge inspection access from the water. A contractor may bid on one contract or each of them. Each contract will be awarded to the lowest bidder, however; a contractor could be awarded more than one contract. The structures to be inspected range in size and complexity with spans located over roadways, waterways, and railways. Typical work will be completed on weekdays during daylight hours with night and weekend work utilized as required. Services will be provided beginning as early as March 1, 2024 through December 31, 2026. Work days may not be consecutive and will be subject to weather conditions. Larson Design Group reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of days required or structures inspected for Non-Professional Services as necessary for the successful completion of the NBIS Inspections Group 1 - City of Pittsburgh Work. The Agreement will be for a (3) three-year period with the option to extend the term of the Agreement up to (2) two additional years at the sole discretion of PRT.
