PUBLIC NOTICE The Pittsburgh Water and Sewer Authority (PWSA) has submitted application for PENNVEST funding consideration in the City of Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, for the purpose of storm sewer system construction. The loan will be used for the following projects: LHR Phase 1A - Centre Avenue Sewer Separation Project This proposed contract will be the initial phase of a sewer separation effort for the Centre Avenue sewershed. The construction of a new storm trunk sewer will support the removal of stormwater from the existing combination sewer along Centre Avenue near the Crawford-Roberts neighborhood and provide dedicated stormwater service in support of the Lower Hill Redevelopment site located at the former Civic Arena property. This site is located in the City of Pittsburgh municipal limits. In the December 2012 board meeting, the PWSA Board approved the 2013 Operating Budget which does not include a rate increase for its customers.
