On February 28, 2024, at 7:30 p.m., at its regularly scheduled public meeting in Council Chambers, or at a timely and duly scheduled regular Council meeting thereafter, Township Council will consider and, if appropriate, may enact an ordinance entitled and summarized as follows: AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWNSHIP OF HAMPTON, COUNTY OF ALLEGHENY, PENNSYLVANIA, AMENDING CHAPTER 250 SECTION 1 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF HAMPTON TOWNSHIP TO ESTABLISH A SEWER TAPPING AND CONNECTION FEE PURUSANT TO THE MUNICIPALITY AUTHORITIES ACT, 53 PA.C.S § 5607, AS AMENDED. Summary of proposed Amendments: This Ordinance amends the current sewer connection fee, establishing a sanitary sewer tapping and connection fee for all new dwellings and commercial/industrial facilities connecting to the Township's sanitary system, as determined by the Township of Hampton Tapping and Connection Fee Report prepared by KLH Engineers, Inc.
