(Sections 302(e)(1)(ii), 303(h)(1)(ii), 304(n)(1)(i), and 305(c)(1)) Pursuant to the Land Recycling and Environmental Remediation Standards Act, the act of May 19, 1995, P.L. 4, No. 1995-2., notice is hereby given that Cozza Enterprises, LLC. has submitted to the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (PADEP) a Notice of Intent to Remediate soils at the site located at 1101-1111 Lincoln Avenue, Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, PA, 15206. This Notice of Intent to Remediate states that the site, formerly used as a commercial laundry and gasoline retail service station, has been redeveloped into a Family Dollar facility. The site has been found to be contaminated with petroleum hydrocarbons which have contaminated soil and groundwater on the site as described in the Remedial Investigation Report/Final Report, also submitted to the PADEP. Cozza Enterprises, LLC. has indicated that the remediation measures will include excavation of impacted soil and random systematic soil sampling. The proposed future use of the property will continue to be non-residential as the Family Dollar retail facility.
