DOCUMENT 00 11 16 INVITATION TO BID The Borough of Franklin Park, 2344 West Ingomar Road, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania 15237-1619, will receive sealed bids, appropriately identified, for the following: Roof Replacement Franklin Park Borough Building, 2344 West Ingomar Road, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania 15237-1619 until 3:00 P.M., on Wednesday, 25 June 2014, in the Manager's Office in the Franklin Park Borough Building. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at that time. Each bid shall be made upon the form provided by the Architect/Engineer and shall be accompanied by a bid bond, certified check, or cashier's check in the amount of ten percent of the proposed contract amount. No bid may be withdrawn after bids are opened for the period of time stated on the bid form. Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive irregularities in the bid. Bid Documents may be obtained from Foreman Architects Engineers, Incorporated, Box 189, 525 West New Castle Street, Zelienople, Pennsylvania 16063; 724-452-9690. Refundable deposits of $50.00 per set, for a maximum of two sets, are required, and must be in the form of a corporate, or business check made payable to the "Borough of Franklin Park", which shall be sent to the printer. Quantities over two sets must be purchased directly from the printer. This Project has the following prime construction contract: Roofing Construction Deposits will be refunded if (1) a bid is tendered, or the intent to withdraw is given at least 48 hours prior to bid opening; and (2) if complete sets of Bid Documents (including addenda) are returned to the printer (at the above address), in good (reusable) condition, within fourteen calendar days after bids are opened, or as directed by the Architect/Engineer. Bidders are encouraged to visit the project site and examine the areas involved. Bidders may visit the site on weekdays from 8:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M., provided advance request (24-hour notice) is made by calling Ambrose Rocca, at 412-364-4115, to make arrangements.
