PLUM BOROUGH MUNICIPAL AUTHORITY REPAINTING OF STEEL TANKS ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Sealed proposals will be received by the Plum Borough Municipal Authority, 4555 New Texas Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15239, for the MARIAH TANK REPAINTING PROJECT at the Authority Office until 10:00 AM, prevailing time on JUNE 12, 2018 and at said office publicly open and read aloud. All proposals are for the furnishing of all labor, materials, and equipment for the complete sandblasting and repainting of the tank. Also included in the contract is the furnishing and installation of a "Tideflex" water mixing system inside the tank during the repainting process. Copies may be obtained at the office of R. F. Mitall and Associates, Inc., 117 Sagamore Hill Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15239 upon payment of a non-refundable deposit of $100.00. Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of not less than 10% of the total amount bid, made payable to the Plum Municipal Authority. The Plum Borough Municipal Authority reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. No Bidder may withdraw his proposal within sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening of the proposals. Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the contract.
