LEGAL NOTICE CANON-MCMILLAN SCHOOL DISTRICT BID ADVERTISEMENT On Friday, January 31, 2014, the Canon-McMillan School District will receive bids for Projects/Contracts as indicated below. Bids will be received up to 1:30 P.M., to the attention of Matt Harding, RCDD, Director of Support Services, at the Central Administration Office, 1 North Jefferson Ave., Canonsburg, PA 15317. Re-Bid on "Boiler Replacement for Cecil Elementary School and Hills-Hendersonville Elementary School". It is the intent of the Owner to enter into separate contracts as follows: Contract No. 1 Heating, Ventilating and Air-Conditioning Construction. Contract No. 2 Asbestos Abatement. Bid on "Structural Repairs to the First Street Elementary School". It is the intent of the Owner to enter into a single contract for the work. Pre-bid on-site meetings/building walk-throughs will be held as follows: Hills-Hendersonville Elementary - Wednesday, January 22, 2014, 3:00 P.M. Cecil Elementary - Wednesday, January 22, 2014, following meeting at Hills-Hendersonville. First Street Elementary - Thursday, January 23, 2014, 3:00 P.M. School addresses can be found at http://cmsd.k12.pa.us/cmsd/index.php Site visitations are mandatory to comply with contract requirements, the Owner has established the above dates/times for the existing buildings to be available for walk-throughs by the Contractors; the buildings will NOT be available any other time. Bids shall conform with Contract Documents prepared by HHSDR Architects/Engineers, 40 Shenango Ave., Sharon, PA, 16146, and 201 Century Building, 130 Seventh St., Pittsburgh, PA, 15222. Bidders may obtain same from HHSDR at their Sharon office (724) 981-8820, upon deposit of $75.00/set. Bids shall include a Bid Security Bond or Check, payable to Canon-McMillan School District, in an amount of five percent (5%) of the bid, in accordance with Instructions to Bidders, as included in the Contract Documents.
